Advanced Armament Corp (AAC) is the market-leading authority in the development and manufacturing of firearms silencers to the military, law enforcement and shooting enthusiast. After their acquisition by Remington in 2009, they quickly recognized that their existing brand story failed to accurately reflect the innovation and leading-edge the AAC name was synonymous with. Adding to this was the market-driven challenge that they had always faced; the public’s perceptions and misconceptions around the legality of silenced products.
AAC turned to UNITED, initially asking us to arm their team with the best possible sales platform for SHOT and NRA trade shows. After working closely with AAC on the trade show and associated collateral, it was clear that a deeper piece of work was required to draw out the real brand narrative, and make the AAC story work powerfully on all levels, regardless of the audience.
We brought their brand image up to date, giving them a more mature and less overused position, whilst still retaining their true identity and the perception of quality that the company had built.
In addition to trade show booths, literature and catalogs for both SHOT and the NRA show, we delivered content across advertising and digital platforms, the most notable of which was the eye-catching '2ND Amendment' campaign, which brought AAC outstanding praise and significantly increased traffic at the trade shows.
